The 90° elbow is the most commonly used elbow in pipeline installation,  it is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipeline in the pipeline system. 90° elbow can be divided into long radius (LR) elbow  short radius (SR) elbow according to the bending radius. ASME  ANSI standards cover the vast majority of industrial fields, including materials, processing, technology, testing  so on,  ASME references many ANSI standards.


ANSI/ASME B16.9 90° elbow production requirements


The connection method of the elbow parts is mostly completed by welding process, in order to ensure high quality, the end of the elbow is made into a groove, reserve a certain slope,  the elbow band edge, which need to be strictly controlled, the slope  edge size have a certain value area size, the elbow surface manufacturing,  the pipeline manufacturing is  much different.
